  1. First of all you need to be an administrator on the computer.
  2. Go to this folder: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
  3. Open the "hosts" file in notepad (or similar)
  4. Add this on the bottom of the file:
    127.0.0.1 rad.msn.com
    127.0.0.1 live.rads.msn.com
    127.0.0.1 ads1.msn.com
    127.0.0.1 static.2mdn.net
    127.0.0.1 g.msn.com
    127.0.0.1 a.ads2.msads.net
    127.0.0.1 b.ads2.msads.net
    127.0.0.1 ac3.msn.com
  5. Save and close the file. If you are not allowed to save it in the folder follow these steps:
    1. Save the file on the desktop and exit notepad
    2. Copy and paste file in this folder: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
  6. Restart Skype. If it does not work you might need to restart your computer.
